I’ve managed but I’d love to find a matte screen protector. That specification table… did anyone bother to proof the format/structure once it was published? The screen feels really slippery to draw on. Because of how bulky they are, I think they’d get in the way of drawing.

The only screen protectors I’ve found are tempered glass (you’ll see why this is a con next) and the only protective cases/frames/skins I’ve found are incredibly bulky and if I’m being honest kinda ugly. I have less of an issue if it’s laying flat instead of tilted with the stand, but then I have to be hunched over it in a really awkward position that will inevitably give me back problems, so I usually just hold it while I sit on the couch or somewhere similar. I have a glass dining table and a wooden desk and on both surfaces I need to use one hand to hold it still while I draw because it’ll always slide backwards.

I stick it to the closed type cover when I’m not using it and it stays put perfectly.

The surface pen is flat on 1 side to prevent rolling, and magnetic. The lowest the battery has gotten was 6% by the very end of the day and I had used it a LOT that day. It doesn’t last 11 hours straight like they use as a selling point because I know CSP can take a bit of power, but starting at 100% in the morning it’ll last all day with a fair level of use. It takes an hour or 2 to fully charge depending on when I plug it in.īattery life (so far - I’ll keep an eye on how long the battery health stays decent). However I will note that unless I want to watch videos or play games, I find myself grabbing my tablet much more often than my laptop.Ĭharging speed. Versatility is a plus, though I really only need it for my art. I haven’t had any issues with lagging, for reference I’ll have my drawing software (Clip Studio Paint), discord, and Twitter open all at the same time and my current canvas is 3840x5000px 300dpi. So I got the base model Go 3 with the 68gb storage. I didn’t want to spend $2k on a Wacom and honestly I didn’t even wanna invest $1k in a Surface Pro because I don’t make enough from commissions to justify the cost to me. I’ve been in the market for a portable tablet for a while.
